Anjali Shastri, Senior Director, Design Strategy, Client Computing Group, Intel: Anjali Shastri is senior director of design Strategy for Intel’s Client Computing Group. Her work in innovative product design and partnering with OEMs has led Intel to establish end-product or customer product design as a strategic asset in establishing a leadership position in the mobile industry.  Prior to her current role, Anjali served as director of strategy and business development in Intel’s Mobile Communications Group. Anjali joined Intel in 2006 after spending 12 years in engineering, product management, and business development/strategy at Hughes Communications, Ericsson and iBiquity Digital. Anjali holds a BS in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, an MSEE from the University of Texas A&M, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

 

Jules Urbach is a pioneer in computer graphics, streaming and 3D rendering with over 25 years of industry experience. He made his first game, Hell Cab (Time Warner Interactive) at age 18, which was one of the first CD-ROM games ever created. Six years after Hell Cab, Jules founded Groove Alliance. Groove created the first 3D game ever available on Shockwave.com (Real Pool). Currently, Jules is busy working on his two latest ventures, OTOY and LightStage which aim to revolutionize 3D content capture, creation and delivery.

 

Brian Selzer, Vice President, Business and Product Development, DAQRI: As a pioneering creative executive for over 15 years, Brian Selzer has made his career pushing the boundaries of digital media and entertainment. Having established business models that drive today's online, mobile and social media space, he is a recognized leader and innovator in the interactive industry. Brian has created, produced, marketed and distributed award-winning content to a client list that includes Sony, Microsoft, EA, Activision, Fox, Universal, Warner Brothers, Paramount, MTV, Marvel, Hasbro, Pepsi, Nike, Lego, NBA and others. As an entreprenuer, Brian has co-founded several globaly recognized venture backed companies, including Ogmento, Inc., the first developer and publisher of location-based, augmented reality games and entertainment. Brian is a sought after speaker at industry events and serves as an advisor on augmented reality initiatives, location-based apps and services, immersive technologies, emerging media platforms, games, gamification, transmedia, and the future of entertainment.

 

Don Daglow, CEO, 4thRing Inc., President, Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Foundation: Don Daglow is a three-time Inc. 500 CEO and 2008 Technical Emmy® Award recipient who advises game developers and publishers around the world, as well as teaching entrepreneurs at the Founders Space accelerator in San Francisco. His clients range from small mobile game startups to large international publishers.  Don is the only games industry executive who has led development teams on every generation of the first three decades of video game consoles, working on each cycle from the Intellivision in 1980 to the PS4 today. He produced two of EA’s first three sports titles and led development teams on the award-winning sports games La Russa Baseball , Madden NFL for PC, and NASCAR Racing.  He speaks extensively in North America, Europe and Asia at conferences focused on interactivity and entertainment.  He also serves as President of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Foundation, the charitable arm of the AIAS.  Don's career in game design began in 1971 (before Pong), and he has been designing online titles since 1987 (before the Internet). In addition to an Emmy® Award for Technology and Engineering in 2008 for his creation of Neverwinter Nights, the first graphical MMORPG, he also received the CGE Award in 2003 for "groundbreaking achievements that shaped the Video Game Industry," and his game Utopia is featured in the touring Smithsonian Museum "Art of Video Games" exhibit.

 

Dmitry Shapiro is CEO of GoMeta, a stealth startup working on building a Metaverse.  He recently left Google after 4 years, where he worked on various social initiatives and global infrastructure.  Prior to Google, Dmitry built three venture backed companies, raised over $100M in venture capital, fought and won a pivotal DMCA case, and was later named the Chief Technology Officer of MySpace Music.  Dmitry immigrated to the United States from Russia when he was 9 years old, grew up in the South, used to be a staunch conservative, but now has a serious crush on President Obama

 

Craig Allen, Digital Strategist, Creative Leader, Creative Alchemy Incorporated: Craig Allen is a recognized leader in digital media known for innovation, corporate strategy, and team management. Currently Craig is at Creative Alchemy advising clients on Virtual and Mixed Reality experiences and methods for using intelligent design to increase user engagement, promote positive behavior changes, and humanize data so better decisions can be made out of complex systems of information.  Previously Craig was the Co-Founder and CEO of Spark Unlimited, a world-class video game developer most known for creating the first CALL OF DUTY for consoles and developing the game plan for what would become a billion dollar franchise. Craig launched Spark in 2002 after serving as the EVP and GM of Jim Henson Interactive where he formed global strategic partnerships, created the first Muppet video games, relaunched Henson.com as a brand-focused portal for audience engagement and contributed to the eventual sale of the company to EM.TV. Craig started his digital media career at Disney Software in the early 90s where he was the Senior Producer of numerous award-winning video games based on the company’s franchises and lead efforts to establish new creative partnerships such as the one that lead to the origination of the Disney I Square Enix KINGDOM HEARTS project. Craig is a graduate of USC, an avid scuba diver and based in Los Angeles, California.
